The Principal of the Brisbane Vein Clinic is Dr William A Campbell whose qualifications are as follows:-
- MS - Master of Surgery University of Queensland
- FRCS - Fellow Royal College of Surgeons of England
- FRACS – Fellow Royal Australasian College of Surgeons
- FACPhl. – Fellow Emeritus Australasian College of Phlebology
Dr Campbell’s major interest throughout his career as a Vascular Surgeon has been in the diagnosis and treatment of venous diseases. This is a sub-speciality known as Phlebology. Formerly Senior Vascular Surgeon, Founder and Director of the Sclerotherapy Clinic and Founder and Director of the Vascular Ultrasound Diagnostic Laboratory at the Mater Misericordiae Teaching Hospital in Brisbane, he now works exclusively at the Brisbane Vein Clinic at ‘Carrington’, 445 Gregory Terrace, Spring Hill Brisbane.
He is a member of the following professional societies:-

- Australian and New Zealand Society of Vascular Surgery
